Everyone loves a good suntan—it makes you feel confident and complete. However, we know that prolonged sun exposure can increase the risk of skin cancer and lead to premature skin aging. That’s why airbrush spray tanning was invented!
With airbrush spray tanning, you can achieve a tan that’s customized to your skin complexion and undertone. This personalized approach ensures your tan looks as natural as the one you’d get from sunbathing, without the harmful side effects.
To ensure you get a high-quality spray tan, there are a few things you should do at home to prep properly.
Ideally, you should begin your preparation about five days before your appointment. If you’re planning to get your nails done, hair styled, a facial, waxing, a massage, or even Botox, make sure to schedule these treatments before your spray tan.
In the days leading up to your tan, focus on exfoliating, hydrating, and moisturizing your skin. If you plan to wax, do so at least 24 hours before your appointment, and if shaving, make sure to shave at least 24 hours ahead as well.
On the day of your appointment, take a shower using a non-oily soap (avoid using Dove or similar products), and steer clear of applying any lotion, oil, or deodorant afterward. Wear loose-fitting clothes, sandals, and to be safe, skip the bra.
Now that you’re all prepped, you’re ready for your sun-kissed glow!
